Mike Dungan Named Chairman/CEO Of UMG Nashville

UMG (UNIVERSAL GROUP NASHVILLE) has officially announced that MIKE DUNGAN has been appointed Chairman & CEO, replacing LUKE LEWIS, who has decided to focus on launching a new music venture in partnership with UMG, with details to be announced shortly.
DUNGAN will begin with UMG on MAY 1st and LEWIS will continue to lead the company until then. The announcement was made today (2/29), by LUCIAN GRAINGE, Chairman & CEO of UMG, and ZACH HOROWITZ, President & COO of UMG.
“UMG is committed to expanding opportunities for artists on MUSIC ROW and MIKE’S appointment is testament to that fact,” said GRAINGE. “He is one of music’s most formidable creative executives, whose determination, talent and passion for music have given rise to the careers of countless superstar artists.
