Adweek Seconds Harker's View On Net Radio's Long Odds To Succeed

In their latest post on their Radio Insights blog, HARKER REASEARCH's RICHARD HARKER and GLENDA SHRADER BOS discover that they're not the only ones who believe Net music radio has considerable financial obstacles to overcome to compete with traditional radio. The duo cites an article in ADWEEK where the writer came to the same conclusion.
"The screaming title, 'Is Streaming Music Out to Crush Radio Advertising?' appears just one more example of the 'radio is dead' meme that dogs broadcast radio," they wrote. "So it is particularly ironic that the story by ERIN GRIFFITH is one of the more balanced looks at the battle between broadcast radio and its digital competitors."
