CUMULUS MEDIA and RADIATE MEDIA have partnered to launch a new traffic reporting service for radio stations nationwide. The service will be called "RIGHT NOW TRAFFIC," and will launch on CUMULUS stations in the top 75 U.S. markets beginning in APRIL. CUMULUS also plans to make RIGHT NOW TRAFFIC available to other stations.
"We're excited about launching RIGHT NOW TRAFFIC with RADIATE MEDIA. Americans are spending more than 1,000 hours per year in their cars. Our listeners, advertisers and network affiliates all demand accurate and timely traffic information, and this partnership enables us to address that need with a best in class service," said CUMULUS CEO LEW DICKEY.
"At RADIATE we pride ourselves on supplying the most up-to-date and timely traffic reporting available to the people who need it," said RADIATE CEO CHRIS ROTHEY. "The CUMULUS network has an amazing reach, and we look forward to working closely with them to localize traffic reporting and enhance the way people access information for their daily lives."
