Price In Journal-Renda Tulsa Deal $11.8 Million

The price JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP is paying for Top 40 KHTT (106.9 K-HITS) and Adult Hits KBEZ (92.9 BOB FM)/TULSA from RENDA BROADCASTING (NET NEWS, 3/7) is $11.8 million, according to the contract filed with the FCC for the deal. The transaction also includes an LMA before closing. JOURNAL owns Country KVOO, Classic Country KXBL and Talk KFAQ-A in the market.
In other filings with the FCC, CIRCLE S BROADCASTING CO., INC. is selling Country KSWG/WICKENBURG, AZ to BARNA BROADCASTING, LLC for $480,000.
And COMMUNITY BROADCASTING, INC. is assigning FM translator K209EC/KANSAS CITY to sister BOTT BROADCASTING COMPANY in a deal meant to enable the station to rebroadcast BOTT's Religion KCCV-A/OVERLAND PARK, KS-KANSAS CITY.
