Carson Daly Apologizes For Gay Remarks During Morning Show

CBS RADIO Top 40 KAMP (AMP 97.1)/LOS ANGELES morning man CARSON DALY generated some less-than-flattering publicity from TMZ.COM, which reported that his riff on the JET BLUE pilot who blew a gasket on a recent flight inferred that gay people were not strong or brave enough to handle such a dangerous situation.
Most of the people were on their way to some sort of security conference in LAS VEGAS," DALY said. "It was like a bunch of dudes and well-trained dudes ... thank god." He laughed then added, "With my luck, it would be like ... 'this is the flight going to [the gay pride parade] in SAN FRANCISCO ... I mean, that would be my colleagues."
Changing his voice to sound like a gay stereotype, CARSON said, "Uh, we're headed down to VEGAS for the floral convention."
Once the TMZ story hit the fan, DALY quickly apologized by TWITTER: "This morning on my radio show I attempted to make fun of myself & offended others by mistake. I sincerely apologize."
