DAVIDSON MEDIA is selling Regional Mexican WNVL-A (LA NUEVA ACTIVA 1240 AM)/NASHVILLE to MARK JANBASH's TBLC MEDIA, LLC, with the price set at $665,000 if the buyer's option to buy is exercised 90 days or less from the extension of the lease on the station's tower site for not less than five years and $710,000 if the option is exercised after that date. The buyer already programs the station under a time brokerage agreement and also brokers time on DAVIDSON's Spanish Adult Hits WMDB-A (EL SOL 880 AM).
In other filings with the FCC, as previously disclosed in the application by SCOTT HENNEN's BAKKEN BEACON MEDIA LLC to buy Talk WZFG-A/FARGO, the company is also buying Talk KTGO-A/TIOGA, ND from GUNN ENTERPRISES, INC., and the sale price disclosed in the latter application is granting the seller's principal DAVE GUTTORMSON one-third interest in the buyer as well as entering into lease agreements. The buyer is operating the station under an LMA.
CHARLES D. HALL has applied for a Silent STA for KMZK/CLIFTON, CO due to storm damage.
MISSION NEBRASKA, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for FM translator K256BE/SEWARD, NE while it pursues a sale or move of the station.
HURON BROADCASTING LLC has filed for an extension of its Silent STA for FM translator K265EE/HURON, CA while it pursues a move of the facility or modification of the existing facility.
The BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE NEVADA SYSTEM OF HIGHER EDUCATION has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator K210AZ/LOVELOCK, NV while it waits for an STA to operate with its present facilities; the station was built under a construction permit but the licensee failed to file a timely application for a license to cover, and has taken the translator off the air while awaiting temporary authorization for the station as built.
CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has requested a Silent STA for FM translator K211EI/LAMAR, CO due to the destruction of its tower by a tornado; the station filed a video clip of a news report showing tornado damage in LAMAR. The licensee also filed for a Silent STA for K268AQ/BENTONVILLE, AR while it seeks a new frequency due to displacement by the completion of construction of JEM BROADCASTING/HOG RADIO Classic Hits KFMD/GREENLAND-FAYETTEVILLE, AR.
ANDREW A. WACHTER has closed on the sale of Top 40 KEKS (KISS 103.1)/OLPE-EMPORIA, KS to MY TOWN MEDIA, INC. for $97,000.
FRANK MENDOZA has closed on the sale of his 83.33% interest in GRANDE BROADCASTING OF DEL RIO, INC., licensee of Hot AC KTDR (MIX 96)/DEL RIO, TX, to 16.67% partner TEXAS REVOLUTION MEDIA GROUP, LLC for $120,000. TEXAS REVOLUTION has operated the station under a Time Brokerage Agreement since JULY.
And SNOW HILL BROADCASTING has closed on the sale of 80s WAMS/SNOW HILL, MD to BAYSHORE MEDIA for $350,000. JASON JAMES of PATRICK COMMUNICATIONS served as broker for the deal.
