Carrie Underwood Announces 'The Blown Away Tour'

ARISTA NASHVILLE artist CARRIE UNDERWOOD announced her latest tour during her appearance on ABC-TV’s GOOD MORNING AMERICA today (5/1). CARRIE will launch a headline NORTH AMERICAN arena tour this fall, “THE BLOWN AWAY TOUR.” The tour will also include an international run of shows this SUMMER, including her first-ever UNITED KINGDOM concert taking place at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL in LONDON on JUNE 21st, which sold-out in 90 minutes. Additional international concert dates will be announced soon.
ATLANTIC/WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE artist HUNTER HAYES is set to open. Tickets will be available beginning FRIDAY, MAY 11th and on sale information is available at www.carrieunderwood.fm.
“I can’t wait to get back out on the road and perform new music from my new album for my fans,” said CARRIE. “We have a lot of exciting things planned!”
UNDERWOOD is donating $1 from each ticket sold on the NORTH AMERICAN leg of the tour to support RED CROSS disaster relief. This donation will help the RED CROSS provide shelter, food, and emotional support for those in need after a disaster. Proceeds from her CANADIAN concerts will be donated to the CANADIAN RED CROSS.
In other CARRIE news, she made herself at home yesterday (4/30) at CBS’S “Late Show With DAVID LETTERMAN.” After performing on the show she was also a part of INTERACTIVE MUSIC GROUP’S webcast concert series “Live on LETTERMAN.”
