FCC Sets Regulatory Fee Rates

The FCC needs to raise $339,844,000 in regulatory fees for Fiscal Year 2012, and in a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, the Commission says it expects to collect $248,850 from Class A AMs based on a rounded fee of $3,950), $3.091,200 from Class B AMs ($2,100), $1,098,750 from Class C AMs ($1,250), and $3,671,750 from Class D AMs ($2,375). FM classes A, B1, and C3 will contribute $7,713,875 to the cause at a rate of $2,525, Class B, C, C0, C1, and C2 FNs will pay $9,509,375 ($3,125), AM construction permits will pay $35,750 ($550), and FM CPs will account for $84,000 ($700).
The fees will be collected in a filing window in SEPTEMBER.
