An application filed MONDAY and released TODAY at the FCC shows CUMULUS (through licensee RADIO LICENSE HOLDING II, LLC) proposing to move WYAY/GAINESVILLE-ATLANTA, GA from its present site and frequency of 106.7 FM to 106.5 FM as a Class C1 with new community of license SANDY SPRINGS, GA, using 100,000 watts at 299 meters HAAT.
The station, which will shortly flip from Oldies to all-News, has a pending application for the SANDY SPRINGS community of license change. The new antenna location would be the tower just off I-20 east of downtown near BILL KENNEDY Way SE, which presently houses TRINITY BROADCASTING Religion WHSG-TV, two LPTVs, and CPs for two translators and backups for CUMULUS Top 40 WWWQ (Q100).
