CBS RADIO Sports KRLD-F (105.3 THE FAN)/DALLAS is filling the gaps left by the departures of JOSH LEWIN and ARNIE SPANIER by using some talent already in the building.
Sister News KRLD-A morning-drive reporter JANE SLATER is moving to THE FAN to co-host 10a-2p with MARK ELFENBEIN. "ELF AND SLATER" will fill the slot vacated by LEWIN when he took the job as NEW YORK METS play-by-play voice.
CHRIS ARNOLD, the former Sports Director at crosstown KKDA-F (K104) and a former host at KTCK-A (THE TICKET), will join incumbent GAVIN DAWSON on "THE G-BAG NATION," which is expanding to fill the 7-midnight slot; the extra hours will take over the exiting SPANIER's hours.
“The addition of JANE and CHRIS to the full-time staff at 105.3 THE FAN illustrates our commitment to be the live and local sports talk station,” said VP/News/Talk/Sports Programming BRUCE GILBERT. “Their characteristics, personalities and unique perspectives emphasize our goal to be the voice of the many diverse sports fans across NORTH TEXAS.”
Both shows start on JUNE 4th.
