LISA FRANK is selling Country WTNK-A and FM translator W228CB/HARTSVILLE, TN to LORI and KENNETH FORTE's R & F COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $191,000.
In other filings with the FCC, RADIO ASSIST MINISTRY, INC. is selling FM translator W276CC/MORTON, IL to TRIAD BROADCASTING, LLC's MONTEREY LICENSES for payment of a promissory note between the parties from 2009 related to an option and the buyer's time brokerage agreement for the translator, which will rebroadcast the buyer's Talk WMBD-A/PEORIA.
PERRY COUNTY EDUCATIONAL MEDIA is donating low power KQIX-LP/PERRYVILLE, AR to ST. FRANCIS CHAPEL. The assignor is donating the station in order to allow it to operate new full-power noncommercial KWQX

JERROLD T. LUNDQUIST's CHAPARRAL BROADCASTING, INC. has closed on the sale of silent KIPA-A and KHBC/HILO and KHWI/HOLUALOA, HI to RESONATE HAWAII, LLC for $500,000. CHAPARRAL bought the trio out of the bankruptcy of PARROTT BROADCASTING LTD. for $350,000 late last year. RESONATE HAWAII is owned by DAN DEEB, who holds 49%, with DEANNA STENMAN owning 20%, U.S. citizen/Australian resident CARLA MARIA MORRIS holding 30%, and Australian EL GORDO TRUST, GUNS OF SENECA PTY LTD. holding 20%.
And FAMILIA DEI has closed on the sale of the construction permit for a new FM at SHENANDOAH, VA to HOLY FAMILY COMMUNICATIONS for $16,500.
Meanwhile, the BROCKTON ENTERPRISE reports that the sale by BUSINESS TALKRADIO NETWORK's BTR BOSTON, INC. of troubled Talk WXBR-A/BROCKTON, MA to JOHNSON NAPOLEON's AZURE MEDIA, LLC for $250,000 has been approved by the FCC. NAPOLEON told the paper that the station, which was evicted from its studios and has been operating from temporary facilities with mostly network content since then, will remain in BROCKTON and will air "local, English-language content," but did not offer details other than saying, "We’d like to have more business people in the BROCKTON area advertise on the radio station or even buying airtime so they can do their own radio shows ... As far as I’m concerned, I want it to be an English-speaking radio station. I want it to focus on BROCKTON. I want it to broadcast high school football. That’s what I want right now." Closing is expected in the coming two to three weeks.
