LINCOLN FINANCIAL MEDIA Alternative KBZT (FM 94/9)/SAN DIEGO PD GARETT MICHAELS exits after almost 10 years with the station.

MICHAELS said, "My departure from FM 94/9 is bittersweet. Although the last three years have been particularly challenging, I’m incredibly proud of the brand we created and the legacy we built over the last 10 years ago. I’d like to especially thank DON BENSON, JOHN DIMICK, CLARKE BROWN, and DARREL GOODIN for their mentorship and the initial opportunity to come to SAN DIEGO. Additionally, I want to thank and acknowledge FRED JACOBS, PAUL JACOBS, DAVE BEASING, TIM DAVIS, KEITH CUNNINGHAM, and CHRIS ACKERMAN for being the best collaborators in the business.
