OREGON radio station owner and talk show host CHERYL MCANALLY HARLE has been ordered to stay away from Rep. KURT SCHRADER (D-OR) after the Congressman obtained a restraining order against her from CLACKAMAS COUNTY Circuit Court, reports THE OREGONIAN.
SCHRADER's request alleged that HARLE has sent him hundreds of emails -- over 800 from OCTOBER through early FEBRUARY -- and called him on his cellphone 235 times between OCTOBER and MAY while sending him 308 FACEBOOK messages over four APRIL days. "I do not know what she will do next," SCHRADER told the court in his filing. "I'm worried that she may try to kidnap or harm me or my family..... Recently, she has become convinced that I have cancer and am dying. She said that if I die, she has no reason to live."
HARLE owns AGPAL BROADCASTING, licensee of Talk KCUP-A/TOLEDO, OR and Classic Hits KPPT (100.7 BOSS FM)/DEPOE BAY-NEWPORT, OR and hosts a show on KCUP, on which SCHRADER has appeared, but SCHRADER's Chief of Staff PAUL GAGE told the OREGONIAN that the Congressman has had no other social or professional contact with HARLE and sent her a cease-and-desist letter in FEBRUARY to no avail.
