TRITON DIGITAL has signed a three-year exclusive agreement with SALEM COMMUNICATIONS to provide streaming services for 94 of its stations. TRITON will also provide server-side recordings of shows from the SALEM COMMUNICATIONS network in order to automatically create RSS feeds for podcasts as part of the deal.
SALEM will now deploy services spanning TRITON DIGITAL's entire suite of products -- including streaming delivery, WEBCAST METRICS, CAMPAIGN MANAGER and ROYALTY REPORTER.
"We're constantly looking for new ways to maximize profitability for our stations while better serving the needs of our audiences," said SALEM Radio Division Pres. DAVID SANTRELLA.
"Leveraging TRITON's suite of products is an excellent way for us to meet both of those goals by providing quality streams and added services for listeners, as well as easy access to the accurate measurement and demographic information that advertisers demand," added SALEM Dir./Digital Sales RODNEY WHITAKER.
"With the addition of SALEM COMMUNICATIONS, we're now providing streaming delivery for 18 out of the top 25 radio groups in the U.S. and serving 24 of the top 25 in some capacity," said TRITON DIGITAL COO MIKE AGOVINO. "The streaming radio market is extremely competitive, so we've built TRITON's services to help stations navigate it effectively, increase audience engagement levels and ultimately maximize profitability by selling more targeted ads."
