SALEM Talk WNYM-A (AM 970 THE ANSWER)/NEW YORK host CURTIS SLIWA has been served ... with an courtroom apology from a mobster who turned on his compatriots and testified that they were involved in SLIWA's 1992 shooting.
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS reports that JOSEPH "LITTLE JOEY" D'ANGELO, who testified that JOHN A. SLIWA said in a victim impact statement that "to his credit, he cooperated," but that he wants D'ANGELO to admit that he informed on the GAMBINO crime family and "when you do that then maybe for the first time in my life, I can forgive and forget."
D'ANGELO has been sentenced to time served and has been free on bail since 2007.
