The FCC database's FRIDAY update didn't show any new station sale filings, but did show a handful of Silent STA-related cases. In one, BREEZE BROADCASTING GROUP, LLC. has requested a Silent STA for WTKE-A/MILTON, FL due to equipment failure and financial hardship.
Also, AGNUS DEI COMMUNICATIONS, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KSJP/IPSWICH, SD while it decides whether to relocate or modify the station.
JACKMAN HOLDING COMPANY, LLC has also requested an extension of its Silent STA for KLMZ/LEADWOOD, MO while it looks for an LMA partner to run the station.
Receiver TODD FOWLER has closed on the sale of Urban Inspirational WHLQ/LAWRENCEVILLE, VA to JIMMY JOHNSON for $75,000.
And FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator W282AS/SALTILLO, MS to JOHN M. DOWDY for $25,000. The translator rebroadcasts the buyer's Adult Standards WELO-A/TUPELO, MS.
