DALLAS COWBOYS legend DREW PEARSON has inked a one-year contract extension with ESPN Sports KESN (103.3 ESPN)/DALLAS, the station announced at, appropriately, its "Lunch with a Legend" event. PEARSON has been appearing on the station as a commentator and COWBOYS post-game co-host and will continue weekly appearances on the BEN AND SKIN and RANDY GALLOWAY shows.
PEARSON said, "I am very happy and excited to be joining the ESPN RADIO team for my third season as COWBOYS/NFL analyst. My role with ESPN provides a platform for me to express my sports opinions and it also allows me the opportunity to continue my association the 'Worldwide Leader in Sports' -- ESPN -- which to me is priceless."
"We are thrilled to extend our relationship with the 'Original 88' and are ecstatic to have a legend becoming even more involved with our station," said GM PETE DITS. "DREW is not only an exceptional athlete, but he is also a fan favorite who elicits the feeling of the COWBOYS dynasty. His knowledge and understanding of the game is unsurpassed. The marriage of ESPN DALLAS and DREW PEARSON solidifies our commitment to provide the best COWBOYS coverage in the DFW metroplex."
