BACKYARD BROADCASTING SOUTH DAKOTA LICENSEE, LLC is selling seven stations in the SIOUX FALLS, SD market to DUKE WRIGHT's MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $13.35 million. The cluster includes Talk KELO-A, AC KELO-F (LITE 92.5), Active Rock KRRO, Adult Hits KSQB-F (Q 95.7), Country KTWB and Sports KWSN-A/SIOUX FALLS and Oldies KXQL (KOOL 107.9)/FLANDREAU, SD.
In other filings with the FCC, TODD ROBINSON, INC. is selling Triple A KTKE/TRUCKEE, CA to JOEL DEPAOLI;'s TRUCKEE TAHOE RADIO, LLC for $82.500. The buyer has been operating the station under a Time Brokerage Agreement since 2010.
BIRD STREET MEDIA PROJECT is transferring low-power FM KRBS-LP/OROVILLE, CA to OROVILLE SOUTHSIDE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION, INC.
And ARTS FOR THE COMMUNITY, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WTYG/SPARR, FL while it sells the station; the licensee says it "does not have the finances to operate WTYG until the assignment is filed and granted."
