CBS RADIO Top 40/Rhythmic KLUC/LAS VEGAS' END OF SUMMER BLOCK PARTY lit up LAS VEGAS this weekend. The SATURDAY (8/18) show featured RYAN BEATTY, AUSTIN MAHONE, CHRIS RENE, OUTASIGHT, ANDREA RUSSETT and newcomer DENISE.
On stage, emerging superstar RYAN BEATTY challenged RUSSETT, teen YOUTUBER and on-air talent at OASIS RADIO GROUP Top 40/Mainstream WJFX/FORT WAYNE, to eat her first hamburger. RUSSETT agreed to the challenge as long as BEATTY would meet her at a local IN-N-OUT after the concert.
More than 700 fans showed up at IN-N-OUT, 10 times the maximum capacity, packing the restaurant. With the chaos of fans, it took eight police cruisers and 16 of LAS VEGAS' finest to get BEATTY safely out of the IN-N-OUT.
In a press release, KLUC PD CAT THOMAS commented about BEATTY, "This kid is a phenomenon in the making. If you don't know him, you better. His song, 'Hey L.A.,' is already receiving huge requests at night for KLUC. All the girls love him and he is the real deal!"
OASIS RADIO GROUP GM PHIL BECKER added, "You may not know who RYAN BEATTY and ANDREA RUSSETT are yet, but your station's audience sure does -- and so does the LAS VEGAS POLICE."
