Report: Former L.A. Host, Newsman Paul Crosswhite Dies

Condolences to family and friends of veteran LOS ANGELES radio personality and newsman PAUL CROSSWHITE, who died FRIDAY (8/17) after a long illness, according to LARADIO.COM.
CROSSWHITE was best known for hosting evenings, then mornings at Smooth Jazz KTWV (94.7 THE WAVE) and as a newsman at several stations, including KNX-F (now KCBS-F), KJOI (now KYSR), KWST (now KPWR), KFWB-A, KEZY (now KFSH), KNX-A, KRTH, and KFI-A. He won several awards for his news work, including the AP Award and Golden Mike Award. He exited THE WAVE in 2001.
