JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP Top 40 KHTT (K-HITS)/TULSA has promoted CRISTAL as the new co-host of "The Morning After" show. A 10-year veteran of the station, CRISTAL spent the last four years doing middays.
"The station did a national search, but it turned out the right person for the role was already in the building," JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP/TULSA OM BRIAN GANN said. "CRISTAL knows TULSA and understands the station’s audience. We are very excited to name her to the position."
"I started with K-HITS doing overnights, eventually going to middays, and now I am very excited to begin this new adventure with AUSTIN in the mornings," CRISTAL said. "I couldn’t ask for a better teacher and teammate in Austin.
"I’m really looking forward to having CRISTAL join the show permanently," morning co-host AUSTIN said. "She brings a fun, fresh female-focused perspective to the show."
"We were hoping that CRISTAL would jump at the opportunity to fill-in and within days she became the lead candidate for the permanent role," K-HITS PD JET BLACK said. "She’s been with K-HITS for many years as a vital part of our programming staff and we're excited to be able to have CRISTAL join AUSTIN. Together, they will offer a high level of entertainment and energy to morning listeners of K-HITS."
