CAPITOL NASHVILLE group LITTLE BIG TOWN has paired up with CONAGRA FOODS for the “CHILD HUNGER ENDS HERE” campaign. The group will continuously raise awareness for the cause, as well as record an exclusive video of “HERE’s HOPE,” to be viewable on CONAGRA FOOD’s FACEBOOK page in SEPTEMBER.
“Having gone through difficulties with my own family and growing up in a single-parent household with five siblings, I've had first-hand experience with not knowing sometimes where our next meal was coming from. Our children should never have to wonder where their next meal is coming from, and with the passionate work and generosity of everyone involved with CONAGRA FOODS and this endeavor, hopefully child hunger will one day be a thing of the past," said LITTLE BIG TOWN’s PHILLIP SWEET.
“When we heard LITTLE BIG TOWN perform “Here’s Hope” on the ACM AWARDS we saw our message come to life and everyone listening imagined a time when every child in AMERICA would have enough to eat,” said CONAGRA FOODS' Dir./Sponsorships CHRIS SINTA. “We immediately saw the bands’ passion around the issue and knew they’d be powerful voices in the fight to end child hunger in the U.S.”
