Alan Burns, Triton To Unveil New Poll Data At NAB/RAB Show

ALAN BURNS AND ASSOCIATES and TRITON DIGITAL will present the results of a national poll on media usage and consumer attitudes at next week’s NAB/RAB RADIO SHOW, on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st at 10:30a). Over 25,000 people were polled for this survey.
The session will, among other things, document radio’s strengths versus other media, show what in-car Internet penetration will mean to radio, whether radio is likely to remain an effective advertising medium, and what radio’s three biggest challenges are. The national poll includes opinions from all ages, genders, and format listeners, and was conducted using TRITON DIGITAL’s "Immediate Insights" polling engine.
"One of those challenges is the mindset of people in the ad agency community," ALAN BURNS said. "This data clearly shows that people who work in advertising think of and use media -- especially radio -- differently than most consumers, in ways that aren’t favorable to radio. FRIDAY’s presentation will document how agency folks differ from the consumers they want to reach, and we think the findings will be very useful for radio sales."
