FCC Rejects Challenge To Florida CP

The FCC has turned down CORNERSTONE BROADCASTING CORP.'s Petition for Reconsideration of the grant of a new noncommercial educational station in EUSTIS, FL to CSN INTERNATIONAL.
CORNERSTONE objected to the grant of the permit because of changes in the structural ownership of CSN after the 1999 initial application filing and the grant of CSN's application in a mutually exclusive group with CORNERSTONE and WESTMINSTER ACADEMY in 2009. The Commission agreed with CSN that the ownership change, which saw JEFFREY SMITH become 100% owner, qualified as a minor change and that CSN did not intentionally conceal the change.
