WNYQ Hangs (Stuffed) Cat To Check Wind From Hurricane Sandy

ALBANY BROADCASTING Classic Hits WNYQ (Q101.7)/ALBANY PD/morning dudette JACKIE DONOVAN decided that her listeners needed a better handle on how HURRICANE SANDY was going to affect things upstate -- since all of the focus was on NEW YORK CITY and other seaboard cities.
So, JACKIE took the station's official stuff weather mascot CAT E. GORY, and had station staffer KEN risk life and limb to string CAT E. GORY on a guide wire -- to measure the wind velocity.
Thrill to the marvels of technology as CAT E. GORY is hoisted into place.
And, thrill to the absurdity that is CAT E. GORY twisting in the wind.
How'd this all happen? Yup, C.P.R. leader of mirth and silliness PAIGE NEINABER was definitely involved.
