KDGE Adds Daniel To Middays

CCM+E Alternative KDGE (102.1 THE EDGE)/DALLAS adds DANIEL to middays, replacing JOSH VENABLE who exited last month (NET NEWS 12/6).  DANIEL (a.k.a. TORREZ), on sister Top 40/Mainstream KHKS (106.1 KISSFM), is also host of the "FLASHBACK CAFE," which returns to the weekday EDGE lineup at noon.

Meanwhile, KDGE has pulled the "OLD SCHOOL EDGE WITH JEFF K" program from its SUNDAY morning lineup.  JEFF K -- who was part of the original EDGE staff -- was hosting the two-hour show from 8-10a.  He continues his duties as Production Manager for CLEAR CHANNEL DALLAS cluster and part-time on-air at THE EDGE.
