CMB Event Lineup For 2013

CHRISTIAN MUSIC BROADCASTERS (CMB) are planning a busy year for 2013, with focuses on PRODUCTION, WEB & SOCIAL MEDIA, WOMEN IN CHRISTIAN RADIO and LEADERSHIP  highlighting the years events.

CMB's PRODUCTION SUMMIT is first out of the gate at GATEWAY CHURCH in DALLAS TX on 2/21.  Attendees will be coached on imaging, creative writing and recording and also will engage in hands-on workshop activities.  Speakers include production directors STERLING TARRANT of KSBJ EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Christian KSBJ (89.3) / HOUSTON and JOHN HUDSON of SALEM COMMUNICATIONS Christian KLTY (94.9) / DALLAS.  TIM SINCLAIR, from ILLINOIS BIBLE INSTITUTE Christian WBGL (91.7) / CHAMPAIGN IL  will also be a presenter.  TIM authored the book BRANDED: SHARING JESUS WITH A CONSUMER CULTURE.
 
Gold members are invited to CHARLOTTE  on 4/17 to meet with the CMB Board for a day long roundtable on the opportunities and challenges facing Christian music broadcasting.  CMB will host its WEB & SOCIAL MEDIA SUMMIT on 4/18 at CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY.  On  4/19, ladies are invited for the WOMEN IN CHRISTIAN RADIO SUMMIT, also in CHARLOTTE.

LEADERSHIP THRU INFLUENCE concludes the CMB Summit season at the home of EMF/KLOVE/AIR1 in ROCKLIN CA on 6/20. Attendees will connect, listen and invest in each other as leaders within the industry.

CMB's premier event, MOMENTUM 2013, is scheduled for 9/4-7, at DISNEY'S YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORT in ORLANDO.  Already confirmed to speak at this year's event is BOB GOFF, lawyer, speaker and author of the best-selling book, LOVE DOES.

"It's a full plate again this year, " says MICHELLE YOUNKMAN, CMB's Events Manager.  "And, in addition to the summits and MOMENTUM 2013, CMB will continue to host its monthly teleconferences and webinars with industry leaders, covering programming, marketing, management, fundraising, legal and other areas of interest.  These monthly meetings will be 45 minutes each and will be hosted on the third Wednesday of each month at 12p E and available as a benefit to CMB members."
