If you live in the TRI-STATE AREA and want to give back to your community while having a blast at the same time, check out “ROCK FOR RECOVERY,” a benefit for victims of HURRICANE SANDY, JANUARY 17th at GRAMERCY THEATER in NEW YORK CITY.
Hosted by KAYLA RILEY of SIRIUS XM's OCTANE RADIO and presented by LIVE NATION alongside GHOST ROCKET MUSIC, this concert will benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Net proceeds will go towards MERCURY ONE FOUNDATION, a charity that helps victims of the disaster.
Participating members have worked together in creating this once-in-a-lifetime lineup in hopes of bringing some relief to those still suffering from Sandy. The roster includes all-acoustic sets from rock bands ART OF DYING, HURT, SMILE EMPTY SOUL, EDISUN, BEFORE THE CURTAIN and more. Also making special performances are ADAM GONTIER as well as SID WILSON of SLIPKNOT with a DJ STARSCREAM dubstep set to close the evening.
The show kicks off at 6 p.m. with all ages welcome. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at livenation.com or at the Gramercy Box Office for those in the city.
Come on out and have a good time for a great cause!
