January 14, 2013 at 9:39 AM (PT)
The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION (CMA) is presenting the first-ever, one-day INTERNATIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC MARKETING SUMMIT on FRIDAY, MARCH 1st at DISNEYLAND PARIS.
“With immediate and convenient access to Country music, the world market is fertile ground for our industry and artists,” said CEO of CMA STEVE MOORE. “Country artists are selling out major venues; our CMA SONGWRITER SERIES is returning to the U.K. and IRELAND in FEBRUARY; and new events like the 'C2C: COUNTRY TO COUNTRY’ Country music festival at the O2 ARENA in LONDON in MARCH are a strong indication of the burgeoning popularity of the music and the need for this type of educational platform across the world.”
The one-day event will highlight a CMA SONGWRITER SERIES at BILLY BOB’s in DISNEYLAND PARIS with artists and songwriters featuring WYNONNA JUDD, SUGARLAND’s KRISTIAN BUSH, and songwriters BRETT JAMES and DALLAS DAVIDSON, all hosted by SONGWRITER HALL OF FAME member BOB DIPIERO.
The SUMMIT includes panels, research presentations, and opportunities to network with Country music industry representatives. Breakfast, lunch, and an evening reception are included in the registration. The content is information for anyone in the entertainment industry and anyone wanting to learn more about the tour and festival landscape outside the U.S.
Early Bird registration is available for $100.
