KSBJ EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Christian KSBJ (89.3) / HOUSTON has been named one of the BEST CHRISTIAN WORKPLACES of 2013 by the research-based organizational and human resources consulting firm, BEST CHRISTIAN WORKPLACES INSTITUTE (BCWI). Organizations were selected based on a comprehensive survey administered by the institute.  The only radio station on the list, this is KSBJ's fourth consecutive year to be recognized.

The BEST CHRISTIAN WORKPLACE CERTIFICATION is a mark of distinction for faith-based organizations that build healthy workplaces.  Certified organizations were identified through an anonymous BCWI employee engagement survey that was conducted and distributed across the UNITED STATES and CANADA to workplaces with Christian mission and/or values.  Organizations were evaluated on issues including job satisfaction, commitment, Christian witness, supervisory effectiveness, work satisfaction, personal growth and development, management effectiveness, customer/supporter satisfaction, teamwork, communications, salary and benefits.
