Bob Agnew Named PD At KLAA/Los Angeles

Veteran Talk and Sports programmer BOB AGNEW has joined LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM Sports KLAA-A/ORANGE-LOS ANGELES as PD effective JANUARY 28th.  AGNEW, most recently GM for the syndicated "ON THE HOUSE WITH THE CAREY BROTHERS," was the longtime PD at Sports KNBR-A/SAN FRANCISCO and also programmed CLEAR CHANNEL's SAN FRANCISCO AM stations and CBS RADIO Talk KXNT-A-F/LAS VEGAS.

GM DAVID BARONFELD said,  “If there were a MT. RUSHMORE for Sports radio programmers, BOB would be one of the faces you’d see. His impact in creating the most successful sports radio station on the west coast is undeniable and having him join KLAA is truly exciting”.
