WQAM Suspends Dan Sileo Over Tweet Exchange With Fox's Erin Andrews

BEASLEY Sports WQAM-A/MIAMI has suspended midday host DAN SILEO for two days for a Twitter exchange with FOX SPORTS personality ERIN ANDREWS last week.
 
SILEO took a shot at ANDREWS on THURSDAY while criticizing coverage of the MANTI TE'O "fake dead girlfriend" story and the media's favorable treatment of NOTRE DAME, calling her a "bimbo," which drew ANDREWS' response that she "never worked a NOTRE DAME game. Not sure how I could have covered it. Blame it on someone else."  The exchange devolved into SILEO tweeting at ANDREWS to "bake me a cake," and "make me dinner" as well as calling her the "worst sports reporter chick in sports" and saying that he "love(s) ERIN either naked or in a porn... Not at a sports desk" and, finally, referencing the incident in which a man used a reversed peephole in a hotel door to videotape ANDREWS changing clothes, "pepe (sic) hole best thing for ur career."  He subsequently apologized to ANDREWS for the latter comment, saying, "EA.wanted to apologize 4 the peephole &porn stuff..whatever i think of ur work..not cool..i have a daughter..DS."

After the suspension, SILEO tweeted, "quite a 2 weeks for THE DAN SILEO SHOW..not on the CANES postgame show and suspended..ALL FOR THINGS I wrote and said..CLASSIC!!"
