Sirius XM Sets Super Bowl Coverage

SIRIUS XM RADIO's annual SUPER BOWL coverage will this year include 12 different live game broadcasts in nine languages, plus several shows coming from NEW ORLEANS this week and other special programming.

Among the game play-by-play broadcasts being offered are DIAL GLOBAL's national coverage, broadcasts by the RAVENS and 49ERS crews, the BBC's coverage, and broadcasts in Spanish, Hungarian, Chinese, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, and French.
 
SIRIUS XM NFL RADIO will be on Radio Row in NEW ORLEANS this week, and will also broadcast SATURDAY's announcement of the PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME's Class of 2013 and a special red carpet show from SATURDAY's "2nd Annual NFL Honors" event, with ADAM SCHEIN and JIM MILLER hosting.

MAD DOG RADIO's founder, namesake, and afternoon host CHRISTOPHER RUSSO and its morning show with EVAN COHEN and STEVE PHILLIPS will be in NEW ORLEANS, as will JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS star running back MAURICE JONES-DREW, hosting his THURSDAY SIRIUS XM FANTASY SPORTS RADIO show "RUNNIN' WITH MJD."
 
Former NFL kicker BENNY RICARDO will host a SUPER BOWL preview show on FRIDAY for ESPN DEPORTES RADIO.

STARS TOO's "JAY THOMAS SHOW" will be on Radio Row FRIDAY afternoon, and BLUE COLLAR RADIO's JEFF FOXWORTHY will be there on the same afternoon.   Meanwhile, STARS TOO's STEVE COVINO and RICH DAVIS wlll host their show from parties and events around town as well as from Radio Row this week, and BOB EDWARDS will host NEW ORLEANS-themed shows all week on SIRIUS XM PUBLIC RADIO.  A limited-run traffic and weather channel will air for NEW ORLEANS on SATURDAY and SUNDAY as well.   Also getting a short run for the weekend will be "RADIO NEW ORLEANS," a music channel co-produced by noncommercial WWOZ/NEW ORLEANS.

SWAY CALLOWAY's morning show for EMINEM's SHADE 45 will be at Radio Row THURSDAY and FRIDAY, and SWAY will also team up with MAURICE JONES-DREW for a special on FRIDAY afternoon.

And HITS 1's "THE MORNING MASH UP" will be on Radio Row FRIDATY and at the NFL EXPERIENCE on FRIDAY and SATURDAY evenings.
