KNST Flips To Country As ‘Wild Country 97.1,’ Bones For Mornings

CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT KNST/TUCSON, AZ has flipped KNST from News/Talk to Country as of 12p (PT), TODAY (2/14). The station will be called "WILD COUNTRY 97.1" and will feature THE BOBBY BONES SHOW for mornings.
KNST is launching with 10,000 commercial-free songs in a row.
"WILD COUNTRY provides an amazing opportunity to the TUCSON community by offering a wider variety of music and entertainment," said CLEAR CHANNEL Market Manager GLYNN ALAN. "We couldn't be more excited to connect TUCSON Country fans with hot Country artists’ newest tracks -- now they’ll have a station to call home and go WILD!"
The News/Talk format will continue on KNST-A (790 AM) and will simulcast on KRQQ HD2.
