HUBBARD BROADCASTING Country 92.3 WIL/ST. LOUIS morning team members CORNBREAD and DERRICK KEITH held a wager to shave their heads in support of children’s cancer research at a 10th Anniversary event for the ST. BALDRICK’s FOUNDATION on SATURDAY (3/9).
The event, held at HELEN FITZGERALD’s IRISH PUB & GRILL in ST. LOUIS, pitted the two men against each other in a fund-raising battle for ST. BALDRICK’s. In addition to shaving his head, CORNBREAD upped the ante by also pledging to sport a logo tattoo on top of his head for the highest bidder, and displaying the tat as the morning crew accepts their ACM award in LAS VEGAS on SATURDAY, APRIL 6th.
RAY VINSON of VINSON MORTGAGE then bid $9,999 in support of CORNBREAD. The total raised by the WIL personalities came to $39,980.
