  THOMAS H. LEE PARTNERS, LP Managing Director JAMES C. (JIM) CARLISLE has been appointed to the Board of Directors of CLEAR CHANNEL COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
  
  CARLISLE, who will not be compensated for his board service and will not be appointed to any board committee, fills the seat left vacant by the resignation of CHARLES A. (CHUCK) BRIZIUS from the board.
