'ACM Week' To Be Interractive For All Fans
March 29, 2013 at 10:49 AM (PT)
THE ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC’s "ACM WEEK" in LAS VEGAS will feature a variety of new efforts for fan interaction throughout the events that are scheduled to take place from MONDAY, APRIL 1st through MONDAY, APRIL 8th.
ARISTA NASHVILLE artist BRAD PAISLEY’s "FAN JAM" concert event (NET NEWS 1/18) will put the audience in the middle of a interactive light show. As fans arrive at the concert, they will be invited to download a BRAD PAISLEY LIGHTSHOW app, which will broadcast a pulsing and changing glow of color from their phone. To get the app, visit lights.bradpaisely.com.
At www.ACMsocialsplash.com, fans can download a "FLAT BLAKE" and "FLAT LUKE" to look like they are taking photos with WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE artist BLAKE SHELTON and CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist LUKE BRYAN (also this year’s "ACM AWARDS" co-hosts). They then can post the photos on TWITTER for chances to win prizes.
The ACM AWARDS will have an app this year, that will provide a schedule of all "ACM WEEK" events, facts about the "ACM AWARDS" nominees, exclusive videos, and more.
Fans can check into the "ACM AWARDS" on GetGlue.com to be entered to win a trip to the 2014 "ACM AWARDS."
And for the 2nd year, the "ACM AWARDS" will broadcast fan and artist TWEETS during the broadcast, using hashtag #ACMs. Also, the ACM "Entertainer Of The Year" and "New Artist Of The Year" will be determind by fan votes via text, or at www.VoteACM.com.
