HYE CHA KIM is selling Silent WDGR-A/DAHLONEGA, GA to KYUNG S. PARK's HANMI MEDIA GROUP, LLC for $100,000. The station has an expiring construction permit to move into the ATLANTA market with new community of license LAWRENCEVILLE, GA; the sales contract says that at the buyer's request, the seller will return the CP to the FCC and the buyer will refile with substantially the same parameters as the dismissed permit. The buyer owns ATLANTA RADIO KOREA, which brokers time on PACIFICSTAR MEDIA's Korean WPBS-A/CONYERS-ATLANTA.
In other filings with the FCC, COOS BAY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 9 has applied for Silent STAs for FM translators K205BS/PAROWAN, UT and K237AX/CALIENTE, NV while the former tries to resolve an interference issue and the latter moves its tower site.
And TIMBER RIDGE MINISTRIES, INC.has closed on the sale of noncommercial Religion-Southern Gospel WTRM (SOUTHERN LIGHT RADIO)/WINCHESTER. VA and FM translators W211AA/HARRISBURG, PA and W215AA/MILLERSBURG, PA to AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION, INC. for $1.1 million.
