GREATER MEDIA Classic Rocker WMGK/PHILADELPHIA announces that THE WHO's ROGER DALTREY is the honorary chairperson for this years' 13th ANNUAL 102.9 WMGK Classic Rock Art Show and Sale. A portion of the proceeds from art show sales will go to DALTREY's TEEN CANCER AMERICA organization, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer.
This year's exhibit will reside at NESHAMINY MALL in BENSALEM, PA from FRIDAY MAY 17th, 2013 through SUNDAY JUNE 2nd, 2013. Admission to the exhibit is free and all of the art is available for purchase. Items range in price from $5 to $10,000, with plenty of items priced under $200.
Some of the highlights at this year's Classic Rock Art Show include a series of early photographs of BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN, taken in the 70s when BRUCE was still playing the club circuit, an extremely rare hand signed lithograph from BOB DYLAN (never released in AMERICA), and two never before published photographs of BON JOVI taken at The Warehouse Recording studio in PHILADELPHIA during the recording of the 7800 Fahrenheit album in 1985.
WMGK kicks off the grand opening of the exhibit with a live broadcast from afternoon DJ ANDRE GARDNER on FRIDAY MAY 17th. Those attending his broadcast will have the chance to win tickets to see 102.9 MGK's 12th Annual Let Freedom Rock Fest on JULY 3rd featuring HEART and JASON BONHAM's Led Zeppelin Experience.
