The FCC has rejected a challenge by JACKSONVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY to the grant of a new noncommercial educational FM at ANNISTON, AL to ANNISTON SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH.
JSU contended that ASDA's application failed to satisfy the the third channel reservation standard, and initially won its argument, with the FCC staff rescinding the grant and naming JSU as the tentative selectee. ASDA appealed and, in OCTOBER 2012, won its case after amending its application to cure the defective third channel reservation showings.
The FCC has also denied SAGA COMMUNICATIONS' SAGA RADIO NETWORKS LLC's Petition for Reconsideration of a $5,200 fine for a late license renewal application for a Ku-band fixed satellite earth station in GROSSE POINTE, MI.
