YMF MEDIA CALIFORNIA LICENSEE LLC is selling off two of the stations in the SAN FRANCISCO market that it acquired from INNER CITY BROADCASTING, spinning Chinese-Korean KVTO-A/BERKELEY, CA and Vietnamese KVVN-A/SANTA CLARA, CA to PHUONG PHAM's PHAM RADIO COMMUNICATION LLC for $6 million.
In other filings with the FCC, WILDCAT EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTING, INC. has requested a Silent STA for WBGB/SCOTTSVILLE, KY while it awaits approval of the sale of the station to SOUTHERN WABASH COMMUNICATIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE, INC. The licensee says it has been unable to find a permanent programming source and has experienced transmitter problems.
And OPP BROADCASTING CO., INC. has asked the Commission for a Silent STA for WAMI-A/OPP, AL for financial reasons.
