CMT Music Video Award Winners

The CMT AWARDS in NASHVILLE last NIGHT (6/5) drew a wide variety of performers and appearances from LENNY KRAVITZ and NELLY, to KEVIN BACON (THE BACON BROTHERS) and DUANE "DOG" and BETH CHAPMAN. The opening of the show featured a pre-recorded skit including VINCE VAUGHN, LORRAINE BRACCO, DR. DREW, KELSEY GRAMMAR, BLAKE SHELTON, REBA, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, LUKE BRYAN and hosts KRISTEN BELL and JASON ALDEAN.
ALDEAN and KRAVITZ kicked off the night with a rockin’ rendition of LENNY’s "AMERICAN Woman" while FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE and NELLY collaborated for the show’s closer, "Cruise."
CARRIE UNDERWOOD took the win for the biggest title of the night, "Video Of The Year" for "Blown Away." She also performed a tribute to her home state of OKLAHOMA with a gospel choir that got a standing ovation from the audience.
MIRANDA LAMBERT scored "Female Video Of The Year" with "Mama’s Broken Heart" and "CMT Performance Of The Year" for "Over You." She also accepted an award on behalf of her husband BLAKE SHELTON for his "Male Video Of The Year" win with "Sure Be Cool If You Did." BLAKE was in LOS ANGELES filming television and could not be present.
FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’s "Cruise" won awards for "Duo Video Of The Year" and "Breakthrough Video Of The Year."
LADY ANTEBELLUM won "Group Video Of The Year" for "Downtown," while ERIC CHURCH, JASON ALDEAN and LUKE BRYAN won the "CMT COLLABORATIVE VIDEO OF THE YEAR" belt buckle trophy.
