MIGHTY MEDIA GROUP has flipped translator W249BN 97.7 from Country to Adult Hits as "GUESS FM." The station signed on early TODAY (6/21), featuring a non-stop marathon of all kinds of Pop, Rock and Soul hits. GUESS FM is also being simulcast on AM 1430, a signal that reaches across several states.
"We’re very excited to launch a brand new station for all types of music lovers here in the MID-SOUTH," said PD TOM FREEMAN. "GUESS FM takes a fun, casual approach and our broad playlist sounds like a gazillion songs and artists. Listeners can tune in to 'GUESS WHAT'S NEXT?' for days or weeks without hearing the same songs over and over and over again like most other stations."
GUESS FM was created in MEMPHIS with the guidance of programming consultant JOEL FOLGER, known for his BOB FM and JAKE FM formats. "I’m so proud to be a part of this new MEMPHIS Adult Hits station," said FOLGER. "Thanks for noticing I have lost weight -- and yes, I might gain it all back celebrating this launch with MEMPHIS bbq."
