LANDRY BURDINE, a former safety for the TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY HORNED FROGS, is joining the TCU football radio broadcast crew as sideline reporter this season. BURDINE, who works in the land brokerage business and serves as a member of the board of directors and former president of the TCU Letterman's Association, played for the HORNED FROGS in 1996-98 and was captain of the SUN BOWL-winning 1998 squad.
"I'm looking forward to the perspective that LANDRY will bring to our broadcast as a former safety in (TCU head coach) GARY PATTERSON's defense," TCU Director of Broadcasting and play-by-play voice BRIAN ESTRIDGE said. "It's been rewarding watching him grow from TCU football player to committed husband and father and someone who gives of himself to the TCU and FORT WORTH communities. LANDRY epitomizes the Circle of Life that Coach PATTERSON emphasizes with his players past and present. He will be a terrific addition to our broadcast team."
TCU football rights are held by IMG COLLEGE and games air on CUMULUS Talk WBAP-A-F/DALLAS-FORT WORTH and TCU noncommercial Variety KTCU (FM 88.7 THE CHOICE)/FORT WORTH.
