Three senior executives at AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA have exited the company, including "MARKETPLACE" VP/GM J.J. YORE, reports CURRENT.ORG.
YORE, VP/Marketing MARY PAT LADNER and VP/Underwriting KATHY GOLBLUFF were let go on JUNE 17th in what spokesperson MARDI LARSON called a restructuring to eliminate layers of management and reorganization into audience development and business development divisions.
YORE is being replaced by DEBORAH CLARK, who moves from Executive Producer to VP of "MARKETPLACE."
"MARKETPLACE" has also added another host/correspondent, with CNN reporter LIZZIE O'LEARY joining to report and serve as primary fill in as host of all "MARKETPLACE" shows.
