FCC Rejects Challenge To Missouri Station's License Renewal

The FCC has rejected JAMES ALLEN PATTEN's objection to the license renewal of D & H MEDIA Country KWKJ/WINDSOR, MO.
PATTEN alleged that the station, which moved its community of license from WARSAW, MO to WINDSOR, violated the main studio rule, was catering to residents of WARRENSBURG rather than WINDSOR, and that the move blocked WINDSOR's chances of getting an LPFM. In response, the licensee noted that its main studio is within 25 miles of WINDSOR's post office as permitted under the rules, that it serves WINDSOR with relevant programming, and that its move did not preclude an LPFM from being licensed to WINDSOR and that the LPFM matter is irrelevant in any case.
