Feinstein Back At Navy Football Mic Despite On-Air Obscenity

Author and sports commentator JOHN FEINSTEIN will be in his usual position as color analyst for the NAVY football radio network despite blurting an obscenity on the air during last week's game.
FEINSTEIN objected to an official's call on a late 2 point conversion attempt by DUKE and used a forbidden word to voice his opinion; after the incident, FEINSTEIN immediately pulled himself from the rest of the game and offered his resignation, which was not accepted.
"No one feels worse about this than JOHN. He made a mistake," NAVY spokesman SCOTT STRASEMEIER told the ASSOCIATED PRESS. STRASEMEIER says FEINSTEIN is under contract to handle four games this season, this week's game against AIR FORCE at ANNAPOLIS being the last of the four.
He made a mistake.
