Former Texas Station Owner Roy Elsner Dies

Condolences to family and friends of former TEXAS radio station owner ROY ELSNER, who died FRIDAY (2/28) in DALLAS at 89, according to a notice in the DALLAS MORNING NEWS.

ELSNER worked at KECK-A (now FAMILY LIFE BROADCASTING Religion KFLB-A)/ODESSA in 1947-60 and signed on KQIP (now BRAZOS COMMUNICATIONS Oldies KMCM)/ODESSA, TX, the first FM in the PERMIAN BASIN/WEST TEXAS area, in 1961, selling it in 1993.
