A fresh take on modern music will hit ST. LOUIS radios on MONDAY, MARCH 24th, when GATEWAY CREATIVE BROADCASTING launches BOOST 101.9.
PD/MIKE COUCHMAN said, “Think of it as Clean Top 40 music. A diverse mix of Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, and EDM for teens, college students and anyone with a young mindset. The music will be positive, fun and faith-based.”
BOOST 101.9 believes that artists such asLECRAE, SKILLET, FAMILY FORCE 5 and BRITT NICOLE could be instant audience favorites. The BOOST 101.9 library is also stocked with ST. LOUIS locals like FLAME and THI'SL. But BOOST is going to ask the listeners to what's hot, and what gets played on BOOST 101.9. Using LISTENER DRIVEN RADIO technology, BOOST 101.9 fans will be able to influence the music mix every hour by voting songs up and down the playlist at BOOST1019.COM. Listeners will also be able to interact through the BOOST 101.9 smartphone apps on iPHONE, iPAD and ANDROID.
BOOST 101.9’s signal covers all of ST. LOUIS proper and the immediately adjacent suburbs. BOOST will also simulcast on 94.1 for the WESTPLEX out past TRUESDALE, 97.7 for those SOUTH and WEST of ARNOLD, past PERRYVILLE and SALEM, and on the HD2 channel of 99.1.
BOOST 101.9’s Positive Hits & Hip-Hop will air commercial-free 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to support from the listeners of BOOST parent station Contemporary Christian KLJY (99.1 JOY FM)/ST LOUIS. GM/SANDI BROWN said, “We're launching BOOST because we know the impact music has on people; this is going to be a lifeline for teens in ST. LOUIS!"
