ACM Announces Social Media Features For 'Week Vegas Goes Country'

The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) will amp up social media interaction during "THE WEEK VEGAS GOES COUNTRY," and the "49th ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS" which will take place in LAS VEGAS at 8p (ET) on SUNDAY (4/6).
IN2UNE MUSIC NASHVILLE artist JAMIE LYNN SPEARS will serve as ACM’s Social Media Correspondent via ACMawards.com and TWITTER @jamielynnspears. CBS-TV Social Media Correspondents will be "THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS" actors JOSHUA MORROA and STEVE BURTON. Follow them on TWITTER @JoshuaMorrowYR and @1SteveBurton.
ACM’s TWITTER, INSTAGRAM, and FACEBOOK will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and video interviews from rehearsals, red carpet arrivals and all of the events during "THE WEEK VEGAS GOES COUNTRY." Fans are encouraged to join the conversation using the hashtag, #ACMs.
Fans will be able to vote for ACM’s "Entertainer Of The Year" and "ACM New Artist Of The Year" through SUNDAY at www.VoteACM.com or via text message (numbers will be announced during the live CBS-TV telecast on 4/6).
KOHL’s will sponsor VINE 360 on the ACM AWARDS’ red carpet. This feature captures 360 degree aerial views of celebrity arrivals and their gowns. The short video clips will be published to the ACM VINE account. KOHL’s will also sponsor YAHOO and TWITTER MIRRORS which will be set up backstage of the ACM AWARDS and allow celebrities to take selfies. Those photos will be TWEETED @ACMawards.
BLAKE SHELTON and LUKE BRYAN will be available for all fans to take selfies with, via flat cutouts. Fans are encouraged to download a "FLAT BLAKE" or "FLAT LUKE," take a photo, and post to TWITTER or INSTAGRAM with the hashtag #FlatBluke and #ACMs.
